The mission is simple. To serve proper food, fast. Food that’s cooked from scratch using fresh, real ingredients from top quality suppliers. If I wouldn’t feed it to my family, I wouldn’t feed it to you.
our story
Fast food was quick, but forgettable. “Good” food took time most office workers like us didn’t have.
We believed you shouldn’t have to choose between the two. So we built something different.
Ten years on, we’re still building. In London, and now across the pond in New York.

how we cook
Everything is cooked fresh on site at each of our stores, every day.
We use whole ingredients and avoid unnecessary preservatives wherever we can. Our salads are dressed generously with extra virgin olive oil, and we cook using cold-pressed British rapeseed oil. Pressed, not processed, and full of the good stuff.
Steak is grilled to order. Veg is prepped fresh daily. And every kitchen is built around proper cooking, not just assembly.
our ingredients matter
We work with producers we trust and cultivate relationships with farmers.
People who care about how things are grown, raised, and made.
Seasonal where it makes sense. Local where we can. Quality, always.
Because when the produce is good, you don’t need to overcomplicate it.

how we do better
We’re not perfect, but we try to do things properly.
95% of our packaging is biodegradable, from Fieldtrays to cutlery.
We only use high-welfare meat and responsibly sourced fish, working with suppliers we trust and a transparent supply chain we can stand behind.
We also support Farm Africa and Action Against Hunger, helping to fund work on food systems and hunger relief.
Small choices, made consistently.
We source locally, where we can
from high-welfare UK farms
BEDLAM FARMS
The squash you’ll find in our Mac’ n Cheese is from Bedlam Farms who are growers of specialist organic vegetables which are not widely available in the UK.
LAURENCE J. BETTS
Our lettuce is from Laurence J. Betts, a longstanding family business based near Kent, which has been producing salads for almost 100 years.
MOLYNEUX KALE COMPANY
Our Kale is from Molyneus Kale Company, a family business for over 150 years. With their expert knowledge, the local soils and maritime climate of south-west Lancashire, they are the only producer who has succeeded in growing kale in the UK for 12 months of the year.
THE TOMATO STALL
Our Heritage Tomatoes are from The Tomato Stall, a farm in the Isle of Wight. It’s one of the sunniest places in the UK, making it the perfect place to grow the tastiest tomatoes.
THE NEW FOREST FRUIT COMPANY
Our freshly grown strawberries are from The New Forest Fruit Company in Hampshire. Situated between the Solent and the New Forest National Park, they have the ideal microclimate for growing the best strawberries in the UK.
